Videographer
We’re looking for a Videographer to work closely with the marketing team to plan content calendars and optimize video for engagement. This is a hands on creative role perfect for someone who thrives in a fast paced hospitality environment and loves seeing ideas turn into real world impact.
About Us:
Venues by Only began in 2011, when founders Julien and Kristy-Lea Moussi opened their first Melbourne café, inspired by Julien’s hospitality roots and lifelong passion for the industry. From those early days, the business has grown into more than 39 venues, with 10 currently operating including the renowned specialty coffee brand Inglewood Coffee Roasters, founded in 2017 by Julien Moussi and Cory Slater. What began as a humble coffee cart and a few local cafés evolved into a thriving network built on exceptional service, quality products, and a deep love for coffee. Today, with over 250 dedicated team members across its venues and Inglewood warehouse, Venues by Only continues to create spaces people love—while looking ahead to even more exciting projects on the horizon.
The Role:
The Videographer will be responsible for conceptualizing, shooting, and editing engaging video content that reflects our brand’s values, craft, and culture. This role combines creative ideation, storytelling, and hands-on production to create videos for social media. You’ll collaborate closely with our marketing, brand, and operations teams to bring ideas to life that highlight our coffee, our people, and our hospitality experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
Concept Ideation & Development:
Brainstorm, pitch, and develop video concepts aligned with brand campaigns, key
moments and storytelling goals.
Translate brand values and messages into authentic, emotionally engaging visual
narratives.
Plan and execute video shoots, including pre-production (storyboarding, shot lists, scheduling) and on-site direction.
Capture high-quality video footage of coffee roasting, café experiences, events,
interviews, and product features.
Post-Production: Edit and deliver polished videos for various platforms (Instagram, YouTube, website, internal use, etc.).
Incorporate motion graphics, text overlays, and sound design as needed.
Ensure all content aligns with brand aesthetics, tone, and messaging.
Stay current with visual trends in the coffee industry, hospitality, and lifestyle media to
keep content fresh and inspiring.
Work closely with the marketing team to plan content calendars and optimize video for engagement.
Collaborate with teams to authentically capture brand stories.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
1+ years of experience in videography, preferably in lifestyle, hospitality, or food & beverage sectors.
Proficiency with professional cameras, lighting, and audio equipment.
Strong skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other relevant editing software. Demonstrated creative storytelling ability and visual composition sense.
Excellent project management and organizational skills- from concept through delivery.
A deep appreciation for coffee, design, and hospitality is a plus.
